League of Legends streamer Imaqtpie gets married in a black t-shirt

Michael 'Imaqtpie' Santana got married to his girlfriend Lisha Wei yesterday in what was a surprise wedding to many of his fans.

Imaqtpie, a former League of Legends esports professional player who is now a full time streamer, is one of the most popular figures in the LoL community.

They were married in a courthouse, and in what would have been less of a surprise to his fans, Imaqtpie got married in a t-shirt and shorts.

However, as many point out, he's usually known for wearing a simple white t-shirt on his streams every day, so switching over to black is technically dressing up.

His ensemble was completed by some dark shorts and black trainers with some yellow highlights.

Meanwhile, Wei was in a patterned white dress as they were married beneath an archway of flowers. Their witness was '2ndSequence,' the streamer's longtime friend and video editor.

The couple broke the news via Twitter, with three pictures and the simple caption 'officially together now,' along with the bride and groom emoji.

Imaqtpie's playing career spanned a number of years, when he played mostly for Team Dignitas between 2011 and 2014.

After that he made a full time switch to streaming, but did have a brief comeback to professional play with Delta Fox last year. The team, filled with former pros who had turned to streaming, was unsuccessful and short lived, despite having a large number of fans.

Imaqtpie has recently moved back to California, and some of his comments and the proximity to the NA LCS studio have sparked rumours he could be making another return to professional play.

However, not many esports pros have the time to hold down a heavy practice schedule and combine that with a successful marriage, so we'll just have to wait and see.

A potential move would probably come about after this year's World Championship, when a lot of contracts will be ending ahead of the new season next year.

The LCS is on a break right now as the top teams around the world are competing in Rift Rivals, where regions battle it out to find out who's the best.
